MEDAC

 

MEDAC is a leading manufacturer and supplier of injury bracing and complimentary orthopedic products in Southern Africa.

 

The brief was to update the MEDAC logo and create a visual identity for their sub-brand Rockets.

 

Their brand is strongly positioned as a medical and scientific product in the sporting community so we used an atom as an icon accompanying the logo. The visual identity of is based on the idea of the periodic table, which serves as a reminder of their medical heritage.

 

For the Rockets logo we wanted to show a movement within the logo, by flipping the ‘k’.

It created the opportunity to include a forward moving arrow within the logo. We also kept a reminder of MEDAC by using the atom as a icon.
